DETAILS

A beautifully preserved Victorian three-stone ring, pairing a bright antique diamond with two intensely blue natural sapphires. The sapphires have exceptional transparency and rich, vivid colour, creating a striking contrast with the white centre stone and warm yellow gold.

Each gemstone sits in an individual crown-style claw setting, with graceful arched openings beneath the stones. The sapphires are set in yellow gold, while the diamond’s white gold setting enhances its bright appearance. Smooth, gently tapering shoulders complete the elegant silhouette, which sits comfortably on the hand.

The diamond has an unusual antique cushion-shaped cut with a notably high crown, a flat table and a flat underside. Its estimated weight is approximately 0.40 ct. When compared with a carat-sizing template, its apparent size corresponds to approximately 0.70 ct, giving it a more substantial visual presence. This template comparison describes its appearance, not its actual carat weight.
